**Yoga experience required Yoga Evolve is an intermediate level class designed to further develop your balance, improve flexibility and build strength, particularly throughout your upper body and core. The class environment is fun and relaxed as students "evolve" their yoga practice, transitioning into more challenging poses. Once a particular pose is accessible then the student progresses to increasingly more subtle explorations of the pose, and so the journey goes ever inward. Studio: Guilderland Center |

Those students who already posses a basic understanding of the yoga experience may wish to build their practice in this intermediate level class. Here you may deepen your practice through an emphasis on the meditative aspect of asanas and pranayama, and begin exploring inversions, backbends, and short meditation at the end of each practice. Vinyasa flow is the synchronization of breath with movement. This vigorous style of hatha yoga builds internal heat, endurance and strength. We'll move dynamically into poses with each inhalation/exhalation to create a moving meditation. We'll study sun salutations A, B and C, as well as some other creative vinyasa flows. Then come and enjoy our weekly, guided Yoga Circle that allows for many levels of practice. Class involves a gentle hatha / raja approach to the yoga experience.
