Those students who already posses a basic understanding of the yoga experience may wish to build their practice in this intermediate level class. Here you may deepen your practice through an emphasis on the meditative aspect of asanas and pranayama, and begin exploring inversions, backbends, and short meditation at the end of each practice. Vinyasa flow is the synchronization of breath with movement. This vigorous style of hatha yoga builds internal heat, endurance and strength. We'll move dynamically into poses with each inhalation/exhalation to create a moving meditation. We'll study sun salutations A, B and C, as well as some other creative vinyasa flows.
